To those unaware, Nadine Lustre backed out of her role in the Filipino adaptation of the hit Korean drama flick Miracle in Cell No. 7 which is among the official entries to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival.
Viva Films eventually found Nadine's replacement in Bella Padilla who will now star in the remake opposite Aga Muhlach.
The Indak star explained the real reason behind her exit. In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Nadz revealed that she asked Viva to grant her a break since she's already done two films this year. "Pang third movie ko na po kasi this year 'yun if ever, so I really felt that I needed a break. Kasi medyo nabu-burnout na din po ako kasi naka-dalawang pelikula na ako this year. Mahirap din po na gumawa ng pelikuka kasi other than shooting, meron pang promotions. So since it's an MMFF Film, parang naisip ko na baka maging masyado ng hectic 'yung schedule, mahihirapan din po ako na, at the end of the day, ayaw ko naman pong parang umayaw, dahil pagod ako at burnout ako."
Meanwhile, President Nadine approves of her replacement. "I'm really happy kasi Bela is a good actress, she's also a good writer and she takes what she does seriously and she loves it and it shows naman po. Okay naman po I'm happy that it's Bela."
