Since finally recovering the official Facebook page of Parokya ni Edgar after being hacked, Chito Miranda has been sharing interesting "origin stories" of the iconic band. "Nagsimula kami ng mga '93," the nostalgic frontman recalled.
Did you know that PNE's first ever official gig was as a front act for fellow future MYX Magna awardee Eraserheads who was promoting their debut album Ultraelectromagneticpop at the time? Chito unearthed a video of the historic 1994 gig where they performed "Knockin On Heaven's Door" by Bob Dylan plus their parody of Radiohead's "Creep" which they eventually called "Trip" and included in their first studio album. He also shared how they met and bonded with the Eheads for the very first time that night.
"Hanggang ngayon tawang-tawa pa rin ako tuwing napapanood ko yung mga pinaggagawa natin nung gabing yun," he wrote on his post.
