We all know by now how Venom's end credit scene left the door open for a future installment in the Spidey spinoff series. And now, the film's producer pretty much confirmed that Tom Hardy will make his return to the franchise as the symbiote-possessed Eddie Brock.
Producer Amy Pascal told Fandango that the actor will indeed reprise his role as one of Marvel Comics' resident anti-heroes and arguably Spider-Man's fiercest foe. "I can say that Tom Hardy will be back, magnificently playing that character as no one else can," she said.
With regards to the future of Sony's "Spider-verse", a lot of fans are wondering if we'll ever see Tom Hardy and Tom Holland go toe-to-toe in a future film. Amy said you can never say never at this point. "Everybody would love to see that."
"You never know someday… it might happen. I can say that we’ve had a fantastic partnership and you never know what’s going to happen. We have a lot of stories to tell about Spider-Man, in every facet. We have big plans for Tom Holland to be a part of everything."
Speaking of Tom Holland, his latest MCU flick Spider-Man: Far From Home will hit Philippine cinemas on July 3!
