This June, Fête de la Musique returns for its 25th year of celebrating the best of the best in the Philippine music scene!
Through the partnership of Alliance Francaise de Manilla, B-Side Productions and the Embassy of France to the Philippines, here's all the exciting things you can look forward to during the month-long celebration:
Variety of music styles
Fête de la Musique will continue to cater to everyone's musical taste through 9 main stages and 50 pocket stages of artists of different genres like Ebe Dancel, Itchyworms, Quest, The Ransom Collective, Stickfiggas, among others.
Inspired by nurse-rapper Fatima Palma-Loo, its 2019 edition will start a new tradition: Music Heals: Fête de la Musique Pop-Up which will highlight the healing power of music by doing a show at Virlanie Foundation in Makati City.
3 Pre-Fête parties
To kick off the celebration, there will be three Pre-Fête de la Musique Parties happening simultaneously in Bonifacio Global City, Makati City and in Luneta Park.
Trip to France
Fans of the festival are given a chance to win a trip to France through sharing a 25-second video of their fondest Fête memories in the #FeteStories social media contest.
Expect a special 25-minute performance from artists like Bituin Escalante, Aia de Leon, Cooky Chua, Kat Agarrado and more as part of the #GlobeFete Production Number.
There will be a special All-Female French-Filipino Medley on the the closing day, June 29, led by the Philippines' very own Radha.
