5 Seconds of Summer never fails to make us sweat uncontrollably. This is fact. And now they're at it again with their intense new single "Easier". The track finds the Aussie band heading into an edgier direction which is reminiscent of synth-heavy groups like Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, and Nine Inch Nails.
In a statement, vocalist Luke Hemmings said the track "is the most confident we have been in the first song to be released off one of our records." He later declared, "I truly believe that ‘Easier’ is the beginning of the best era for 5SOS."

The band is gearing up for the release of their yet-untitled fourth album—the follow-up to 2018's Youngblood—and a North American tour with collaborator The Chainsmokers starting September.
