Veteran OPM hitmaker Nonoy Zuniga is set to celebrate his 47th year in the industry via his upcoming show at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila.
The show entitled Through The Years will take a look back at the singer's near five-decade career in the local music scene.
According to the "Doon Lang" hitmaker, the concert's concept will focus solely on his entire musical journey – from his days as a folk singer, playing in a disco band to becoming an in demand solo artist and one of the most recognizable voices in OPM. "The concept of the concert is really, my life story. How I started as a performer."
When asked about the secret to his longevity in the industry, Nonoy simply said it's all because of his hits which we still hear to this day. "The songs that I sing, nasa Karaoke pa. Hindi nawawala, e. And my fans and friends are still alive," he jokingly added.
Nonoy also revealed that he's coming up with an album this year which will also be available on our favorite music streaming platforms. He also shared how he keeps up with today's standards in music. "Kasi iba na ngayon, e. It's real different now when you release and album. Masyadong mabilis ngayon and we're trying our best to go with the trend."
