Days removed after her first Oscar win, pop superstar Lady Gaga appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to discuss her monumental victory and the latest talk of the town – the real score between her and A Star Is Born director/co-star Bradley Cooper.
The two delivered a swoon-worthy performance of their Oscar-winning song "Shallow" which left fans pretty convinced that there's something more going on between the two. Is life finally imitating art?
Jimmy went on to compliment the singer-actress for their performance. "We were watching it at home and wondered, 'What's going on between these two?' And it caused this big controversy because you had such a connection with Bradley, that instantly, and I guess this is a compliment, people started saying, 'Oh, well they must be in love.'"
Gaga couldn't help but roll her eyes as she finally addressed the romance rumors. "First of all, social media quite frankly is the toilet of the internet and what it has done to pop culture is abysmal. And people saw love, and guess what, that's what we wanted you to see. This is a love song, the movie is a love story." Watch the interview below:
