You can't stop K-Pop from taking over the world, the Twitterverse rather!
The social media platform has recorded over 5.3 billion tweets of K-Pop-related content alone in 2018 and among the top users came from the following countries: the United States, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru, France, Turkey, the United Kingdom, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines!
Last year's Mnet Asian Music Awards was the most tweeted K-Pop event, while the most tweeted account goes to BTS. Also from the group, J-Hope's #InMyFeelingsChallenge became the most liked tweet worldwide. EXO's Twitter Blueroom live Q&A session ahead of Don't Mess My Tempo comeback was the highest number of real-time views.
This tweet number is much bigger compared to its recorded 42 million tweets in 2017.
