The 25-year-old is the last of the Fifth Harmony members to officially release a debut solo single since they announced an indefinite hiatus in March 2018. Sure, she had released collaborations and covers, but this is official official!
Ally has been sharing details of the new track titled "Low Key" and its accompanying visuals since the start of the year. It is slated to drop on January 31st and will feature Tyga. Here’s what she has shared recently:
These samples don't exactly give us a taste of what new sound Ally will offer in her solo career. She did, however, provide insight on the making of her first solo album with Glamour last year. "For the first time in my career, I feel like I genuinely have the power to collaborate with who I want, and I'm contributing ideas to a strong, healthy team," she said. "To finally be in control is so important to me because this is my career. These are the songs my voice will be heard through."
