If you're one of those who cry every time an act gets a Golden Buzzer on the America's Got Talent stage, then prepare because you're going to use your tear ducts to their maximum. Not only did Filipino-American singer Angelica Hale deliver a heart-rending performance of Rachel Platten's "Fight Song" which earned her a standing ovation, she also became the first-ever two-time recipient of the Golden Buzzer in the show's history. All thanks to judge Howie Mandel.
"When people show up on this show, the level of competition is much higher," he told the 11-year-old Angelica. "Just by the title, you are amongst champions. You show up and you ripped the ceiling off this theater. That was your fight song and if I can do anything, I am going to help you win this fight."
Even legendary star maker Simon Cowell agrees. See her performance and the historic event below.
Angelica first joined AGT in 2017 and finished as second runner-up. She's getting her second shot at the championship title on the latest season America's Got Talent: The Champions where 10 former winners and other remarkable acts also returned.
Congrats, Angelica! We wish you luck!
