"Pakialagaan niyo na lang si Pochito. Okay? Here we go. Here I go."
Those were the last words of Razorback drummer Brian Velasco on his Facebook Live video where he was seen jumping off a condominium building in Malate, Manila at approximately 9:45 in the morning of January 16, Manila Bulletin reports.
According to the legendary Pinoy rock band's music promoter Dudee Alfonso (via Inquirer), Brian also "took time to say goodbye to his friends in a group chat page."
The sad and shocking news of his apparent suicide has since spawned tributes and different reactions online—with his name trending on Twitter both nationwide and worldwide—and also sparked conversations about mental health and depression.
