Rihanna and Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino are teaming up for the very first time on the big screen for an "action/crime" film.
Rumored to be called "Guava Island", the project was kept under wraps until reports surfaced over the summer that "This Is America" and Atlanta director Hiro Murai was working on a "secret film" with an undisclosed cast. Glover and Rihanna's names later popped out.
While there hasn't been an official word as to when the project will be released, you can check out the film's trailer which debuted last Saturday at Glover's PHAROS Festival in New Zealand. “We live in paradise but none of us actually have the time or the means to live here,” his character says in the teaser.
Rihanna's most recent acting stint was the heist-comedy flick Ocean's 8 while her new co-star had to postpone his farewell tour as Childish Gambino due to a foot injury he sustained last September.
