27 years after his death, Freddie Mercury remains as one of music's undisputed icons. The Queen frontman is considered by many as the greatest vocalist in rock music history and we really can't argue with that. He has this amazing aura, command of the stage, and an unbelievable vocal range to back him up.

Check out this backstage photo taken by legendary guitarist Brian May who remembered his late bandmate on what would've been his 72nd birthday.

Mr. Fahrenheit's colorful career is still celebrated today. Here are some of his most iconic moments!

Queen's first and only US television appearance. They were already doing a North American tour during the early 80s but surprisingly enough, Queen's first and only US TV appearance happened on the 8th season premiere of Saturday Night Live.

His over-the-top concert entrances. Freddie is known for pulling off some of the most unique concert entrances ever.

Live Aid. One of Queen's final performances with Freddie as the lead singer, their set at the 1984 benefit concert will leave goosebumps all over your body!

His last tour with Queen. Even during his final days, Freddie was still able to deliver one of his best performances at the renowned Wembley Stadium in London.

Freddie Mercury's life and career will be immortalized for the very first time on the big screen in Bohemian Rhapsody which opens in Philippine theaters this October 31.
