It's a sad day for die-hard NBA fans. Manu Ginobili of the San Antonio Spurs just announced his retirement from professional basketball.

According to reports, Manu has been contemplating retirement for quite sometime and the Spurs were well aware of his plans. The 41-year old player was even given time to reconsider but he ultimately went with his decision to finally hang up his jersey.
