The hotly anticipated 2020 release of Maleficent II, the follow-up to the live-action retelling of Sleeping Beauty, is still a ways off so our darling Aurora a.k.a. Elle Fanning decided to sleep through the long wait.
On August 24, the 20-year-old actress marked the end of filming for the sequel with a photo of her wearing a shirt that says "Sorry, I have plans" and a pic of the Disney princess sleeping. Alongside it, she wrote: "Putting Aurora to sleep for now, but she'll wake up in 2020 #Maleficent2 #LASTDAY"
Director Joachim Rønning also shared a photo with the whole crew on their last day of filming via Instagram.
Angelina Jolie, who plays the titular character, also reprises her role as the horned fairy. That said, mark your calendars and set your alarms, Maleficent II is slated to premiere on May 29, 2020!
