Paramount Players is all set to do their live-action adaptation of Dora the Explorer. The film's star Isabela Moner finally shared a sneak peek at what to expect in the upcoming feature and we have to say, the look is pretty faithful to how Dora appeared in our favorite Nickelodeon cartoon, complete with her iconic hair and purple backpack.
Best known for her role in Transformers: The Last Knight, Isabela was cast to play the titular role last May. The plot will be action-packed according to reports with Dora embarking on a journey to save her parents and solve a mystery behind a lost Inca tribe, with the help of course of her trusty friend Boots and cousin Diego. Sounds like the kids' show is getting a more serious treatment this time around.
But not all fans had positive reactions about the upcoming film and we really can't blame them.
Also starring Eugenio Derbez and Madeleine Madden, director Michael Bay's live-action take on Dora the Explorer will be hitting the big screen in August 2019.
