Backstreet Boys and 5 Seconds of Summer are headlining a musical festival together in New York this week and the Australian band couldn't be more excited to do it with them. After all, they've been a big part of their journey.
"Whenever like there's a lot of fans in something we're doing, we're going like, 'Are we Backstreet right now?!'," Ashton Irwin said of the 90s boyband during their Elvis Duran Show appearance. "If it's something Backstreet, it's crazy!"

And it appears that the two met at the radio show's set. "What do you say, boys? Supergroup?," BSB captioned their Instagram photo. We say 'yes'.
