We first crashed into Brooklyn-based EDM musician Antonio Cuna (a.k.a Sweater Beats) in last year's Star Magic Ball. During his stay in the country, he was able to get a taste of the local electronic music scene and meet "awesome" Pinoy artists including Tarsier Records' Moophs.
"I got a choice of which song of Moophs’ to remix and I picked 'Comata Silva' because it had the lines 'standing in a jungle / standing on an island with all my friends.' When I hear it I think about being back [in the Philippines]," the Fil-Am musician said in a statement.
Sweater Beat's killer remix of the track doesn't stray far from Mooph's hypnotic beats and slick basslines. Give it a listen below:
"We're finally getting to put out his remix now and I couldn't be more excited," added Moophs. "Who can say that Sweater Beats remixed their shit? Not many people." Moophs has already released a remix of the renowned DJ-producer's "Glory Days" to commence their collaboration.
